B. Berenika is a Polish photographer who creates some fascinating imagery. They have a very ethereal and surreal quality about them, evoking contemplation from different levels. In the first instance, there’s a strong feeling of being an observer in her world of melancholy and mystery. Secondly, we begin to decipher the imaginary and digital trickery from the “real” scene. In most cases the photographic manipulations are incredibly obvious ( like the pictured, ‘girl in the bubble’), however, many contain fine subtle differences and enhancements – in one form or another.
