Jackson Eaton is a Perth based artist whose photographic images of intimate life in a foreign country captured the imaginations of international audiences, appearing in numerous print and online publications as well as group exhibitions in France, Korea, Spain and the USA.

Having trained in Psychology, Jackson abandoned his post graduate studies to pursue a career as an artist. He moved to South Korea, where he held his first solo exhibition (like)bathwater at Gallery Noon in 2007.

Returning to Perth in 2009, Jackson held his second solo exhibition oh +ve at the Perth Centre for Photography, and received the inaugural WAMI Kiss My Camera Grand Prize.

In 2010 he participated in the FotoFreo Fringe Festival with a joint show Perth From Space and was featured in the acclaimed Hijacked compendium of contemporary Australian and German photography and associated touring exhibition.

Later that year, Jackson broadened his horizons with a one-day photographic installation entitled Singleat Free Range Gallery. The event explored the idea of the one-night-stand and garnered national media interest. Jackson is currently working towards his fourth solo exhibition at Venn Gallery in 2011 and three separate print publications.
