Olaf Heine – born in Hanover, now lives in Berlin. His first job as a photographer was during his architecture studying for the band Terry Hoax. After that he shots mainly rock musicians and bands, artists, athletes. Among his stellar images are different faces as : Iggy Pop, Bon Jovi, Sting, Chris Rea, Cold, Papa Roach, Eagles, Til Schweiger, Matthias Schweighöfer, Franka Potente, Heike Makatsch, Coldplay, Tom Jones, REM, Die Fantastischen Vier, Rammstein, Thomas Kretschmann, Dirk Nowitzki, Oliver Kahn, Luca Toni, Fernando Meira, Mario Gomez and many others.
He has worked for magazines such as: Vanity Fair, Musikexpress, Elle, MAX, Stern, Spiegel, Die Zeit, Focus, Playboy, Rolling Stone.
Specializing mainly in portraits, black and white photography.
From 2009 he teaches in Design Akademie Berlin.
At 08.10 is discovered his latest exhibition: ‘I love you but I’ve chosen rock’ in Berlin.
