Tara Moore studied at the Photographic Studies College in Melbourne, moved to London and treads a fine line between art and commerce. Her personal work isn’t necessarily shot for advertising use, which keeps the imagery fresh and current. Her pictures are conceptual in nature, but tempered with beauty, narrative, and realism. The AOP awards, the Schweppes Portraits Prize, DNAD, and The Creative Review Photography Annual have all helped in raising her profile. Clients like Sony, Microsoft, NSPCC, Abbey, Xbox, and Philips, together with some loyal editorial magazines and stock libraries have kept her in work and busy.
